Our Mission
Healing Through Community
Here at The Hive, we believe in the power of community to heal and transform lives.
Our mission is to strengthen community-based supports for families impacted by incarceration, addiction, and trauma; although we serve ALL families.
We offer a range of services including community and jail-based parenting groups, peer mentorship for parents & caregivers, and recreational programming for youth and adults.

OUR PROGRAMS
At The Hive, we offer various programs that support individuals impacted by incarceration, addiction, and trauma. Our programs are designed to empower our members and provide them with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.
Raising REsilience
Parenting is never easy; parenting in the midst of trauma, can feel impossible. Raising Resilience uses an evidence-based, parenting skill development curriculum to offer a 12-week community and jail-based parenting program. Caregivers will graduate with a certificate after successfully completing the course and then be invited to join our Raising Resilience community.
Roots &
Wings
Roots and Wings is a wraparound program providing resource connection and support to families with complex needs. Case managers work with caregivers and young adults to assist them in becoming connected with resources such as housing, education, employment, mental health treatment, and more.
Phoenix
League
The Phoenix Program is designed to strengthen community connections through engaging activities that bring families together. By focusing on providing relationship-building experiences, we help create stronger, more resilient communities where youth and families can thrive.
J's Closet
A social enterprise thrift store, J's closet provides workforce development skills for our members and low-cost, quality clothing for our community. J's Closet travels throughout the county in a trailer, visiting local festivals, farmer's markets, and fairs. When you shop J's Closet for your family, you are giving opportunity & stability to other families around you.
